	<description>Hypnosis is a relaxed state where someone is more open to suggestions. It feels familiar because we actually do it so often. We enter and leave hypnotic states constantly throughout the day. The act of reading, day dreaming, or watching TV with focused attention are all light trance states. Walking down the sidewalk or waiting for the subway, many people are in a trance state. Just look at them. Driving on a highway may make the trance state more easily noticed.</description>

		<description>Yes - once a day is fine, but you need to do it regularly. For the cd to work, you need to be committed to getting your problem fixed and do it for at least 3 weeks everyday, as that&#039;s how long it takes to change a habit or thought pattern properly.  Doing it more often during the day certainly won&#039;t hurt, but as a clinical hypnotherapist, I&#039;d still recommend you do it for a minimum of 3 weeks. I&#039;m not sure of what your exact issue is, but may problems can be fixed with self hypnosis cds if you&#039;re prepared to put the effort in.

It really doesn&#039;t matter how often you listen to it - you&#039;re not going to do yourself any harm, apart from maybe spending a lot of time with your eyes closed!

As owner of http://www.HypnosisDownloads.com, this is the sort of question we get asked a lot, and I&#039;m a little surprised that the creator of your session recommends you listen to it at night. The thing is, if you listen at night you will probably fall asleep, which is not what you want.

There is no evidence that audio &#039;listened to&#039; while you are asleep &#039;goes in&#039; at all, despite the preponderance of &#039;sleep learning&#039; programs.

When you&#039;re doing hypnosis / NLP (same thing really), the best time to do it is during the day to coincide with a natural dip in your energy levels. For most people, after lunch is a good time. Then, you can easily enter the optimum learning state - relaxed, focused but awake - and are in a perfect condition to absorb what the session is teaching you (consciously and unconsciously).
