Hypnosis is a relaxed state where someone is more open to suggestions. It feels familiar because we actually do it so often. We enter and leave hypnotic states constantly throughout the day. The act of reading, day dreaming, or watching TV with focused attention are all light trance states. Walking down the sidewalk or waiting for the subway, many people are in a trance state. Just look at them. Driving on a highway may make the trance state more easily noticed.

Take care of yourself. Take an hour each day just for you. Do something relaxing….read a book, bubble bath/candle light (lavender scent is good for stress) Hypnosis does not cure stress!!!! Massage is good…talking…getting out what stresses you is best. Counseling maybe..you can get it out,and know it’s confidential..and get GOOD ideas and feedback on your issues. Good Luck…Deep breathing and meditation is awesome also
deep tissue massage sounds painful lol. but yeah GO 2 A SPA!!!! its so0o0o0o relaxing. and not just that take a week off. complete relaxation. and dont talk on cell the whole time either. yeahhh thats worked 4 my frends mom. she like went into this relaxing suclusion. spa, naps, music
I used to rely on a good stiff drink for that, but when it began failing me , i just gave up and quit stressing out over everything……..And quit drinking
whats with the thumbs down …you think I dont know what I did or didnt do? At least I’m honest……jerk, who ever you are
Massage offers just temporary relief. but who is going to hypnotize you? Is it a professional psychologist you could trust, then yes. Ask yourself why you are severely stressed, and try to prioritize. Make a list with things and people that are important to you, and things that you “must” do, and do not waste time with people or things that are not. Try to change what you can change, be patient, rely on friends, if you believe in God, it should be easier: rely on him and pray and put all your troubles and things you have no control on in his hands. Remember to appreciate what you have, count your blessings, and try not to focus on bad feelings. Exercising and relaxing techniques and baths help a lot to deal with stress. All the best for you in dealing with severe stress in this time of your life!
I’d say great sex, a deep long relaxing massage..youll most likly fall asleep naturally from it..smiles..make sure he rubs you with hot oil, and a vibrator should be close by….smiles enjoy the journey..
NEITHER – will rid yourself of severe stress. You must see a doctor who can diagnose your condition. Perhaps some medication to take your mind off of your stressors. Hypnosis will only disguise the real problem. Deep Tissue massage will also disguise the issue, as when it is all over, your problem will still be there.
Severe Stress could also mean that you may suffer from Bipolar Disorder. Just go see your doctor and let him decide for you.
massage is good, but I think hypnosis over time would be better for stress. Meditation is also great. You should check out the self help section at the book store.
Physical stress or Mental stress? Both? I’ve never been professionally hypnotized so I can not comment on that one. But as for muscle tension due to physical stress I would definitely agree with a massage of ANY kind. When I’m “stressed” I take a LONG hot bath & have my husband rub me down from head to toe with body lotion or massage oil. Of course love making and chocolate or dessert are also VERY helpful.
Both do really good but I would do a hypnosis if your stress is too much. Otherwise you could develop high blood pressure which leads to physical turmoil such as heart attacks, strokes, redness and kidney disease.

a massage would help a lot. Light some candles and turn the lights off and have someone give you a really nice back massage for like 45 minutes.

i think a massage works best. You can’t always count on hypnosis working, unlike the massage!
good luck

ooooooooh! I love giving “deep tissue massages.” It ALWAYS seems to relieve me of stress.
Ahhhh…Just thinking about it makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside, and it’s nowhere near quitting time, to go home and give the Mrs. one.
Forgive my dirty mind, it has been a while.

Hypnosis after a massage. Deep tissue is painful.
