How To Use Article Marketing For Free Unlimited Traffic
New methods of getting traffic to your site are being devised constantly but article marketing is still the best way to drive visitors without having to pay anything out. The list of places articles can be placed is huge but the main purpose is to provide back links to the place where you actually want the visitor to go in your marketing campaign.
This is the benefit of using popular sites that have authority and providing they accept your contribution it will help you as well; trust is probably more important on the Internet because most people are faceless.
Article marketing carried out this way (i.e. more than once) will get people to look upon you as an author whose work they will seek out because the content is good. This is why it is so important to show people that you know what you are talking about so they trust the content you provide in the area you write about.
Although it can take a while, this traffic from people that trust you will help your own search engine ranking; this can help improve your organic visitors as your positioning on Google improves. The more websites that link to yours, the more traffic you will achieve; more importantly, none of this traffic actually costs anything at all!
Article marketing not only allows links in the body text of the article but in the resource box at the foot of the page. The purpose of good articles is for people to use them on their site, with each having the links to your site contained in them which all helps the ranking.
It is not unusual for Google and other search engines to take months before they start to list a website. Although you cannot rush the search engines directly, submitting more articles and using the authority sites will help enormously.
Article marketing helps to improving the ranking of a site but in addition to this it also helps increase the amount of content at the same time which again improves rank. The visitors you attract have no idea most of the time you are trying to sell them something. Visitors are searching for information so the more precise and truthful you can be about whatever it is you are promoting the better.
This is the ideal time to highlight the benefits of the product or service to the visitor. It is important they understand why they are buying a product so this process is important. By doing this you are securing any order you make and will receive less refund requests.
If you want visitors to your websites then you must continue your article marketing this way; this process must be repeated on a regular basis for it to work. An additional benefit from writing quality articles is that other website owners will either link to your site or use your articles on their own site; having your articles on numerous sites just improves the exposure of your site. There are no charges to article marketing and is still the number one way to get traffic to your site; with relevant, quality unique articles, visitors will keep returning.

Is Article Marketing Really Any Good?
It’s no great secret that the way to gain ranking positions in the search engines is by getting back links. Up to recently this used to consist of contacting other webmasters and asking them to link to your site in return for linking to theirs. Unfortunately this form of reciprocal linking is no longer as useful as it once was. One way links are now the key. There is no better way to get lots of one way links than by creating and distributing articles.
Every website owner needs fresh content. This keeps the search engine spiders coming back and indexing the site on a regular basis. Writing articles and distributing them is an excellent way of providing fresh content for webmasters while ensuring yourself a back link. In this article we’ll provide some answers for commonly asked questions.
What should I write about?
It is always easier to write about what you know to start with. Once you develop your writing skills then you can move on to subjects you need to research. Always make sure that the topic is related to the site that you are promoting.
How do webmasters find my articles?
Once you have written your article you submit it to Article Listing websites. These website provide a categorized list of articles that are free to use on websites as long as certain conditions are adhered to. One of these conditions is that all links must be live. When you submit your article you add a short biography and a link to your site in the resource box.
Don’t Webmasters just remove the links?
Yes this does happen but not as often as you think. It is very easy to track these webmasters down. Use a tool like Google alerts which checks the Internet for relevant key phrases. It is very useful if you add a unique key phrase to your articles that you can enter into the search tool. You can also search for your name to ensure that all the links are live.
What length should the articles be?
There is not set length of article but anywhere from 200 words to a maximum of 3500 words is normal. Personally I usually aim for 350 -500 words as this usually sits nicely on a page
Should I submit my article to more than 1 site?
That is a matter of personal choice some people believe that you should submit them to as many as possible, personally I only submit to 2 or 3 sites with a Google PR of 3 and above. My personal belief is that this keeps the articles unique enough to benefit any webmasters who use the articles.
How many articles should I be writing?
Write as many as you can. Some people find they can only write 1 or 2 a day while others like my wife can churn our 25-30 in a day. Set yourself a target of writing 1 before breakfast everyday to start with and then take it from there

Pros and Cons of Link Exchanges
Link exchanges are different from other ways of promoting your website that you may have already tried. Whether you’re a beginner with your first online business, or an experienced marketer, if you haven’t tried link exchanges, you might be missing out on something. These exchanges are a blend between traffic exchanges and affiliate marketing programs. The methods to use them and how they work are a bit different.
For starters a link exchange offers you the opportunity to share your links with other sites, and in exchange you place their links on your site. There are some new opportunities that allow you to do this through an exchange site, but most of the time you will have to contact target sites directly and make a request to the site’s webmaster that an exchange be entered into between your site and theirs. There are advantages and disadvantages to both methods. Try both and see which fits your needs best.
By using an link exchange program, it can be faster than manually inviting webmasters to a link exchange offer. There are many types of link exchanges, so read up on the benefits of each one. You can set the parameters of the types of exchanges you want so your exchanges are more targeted and appropriate to your web content. The more link exchanges you get, the more visibility, which translates to more traffic, and more sales bottom line.
It is important that you are aware of a couple of things about link exchanges however. The first is that these will often require a lot of start-up work, contacting webmasters and setting the whole process up. Beyond that, you have to be able to monitor the effectiveness of each link you place. You don’t want to have a bunch of links out there doing nothing for your website. So getting link exchanges and maintaining them can be a good thing, but you will have to decide whether the work is paying off or not.
Another important fact is that you want targeted link exchanges relating to your website niche. For example if your website is about business, you wouldn’t want a link exchange about hair styles (unless that business is related uniquely to that market). You would want topics that are about business and interesting to business owners. Search engines tend to view these unrelated type of links unfavorably. You would want to try to link with sites that have higher page rankings than your site to boost your site’s page rank. Not always easy to do, but not impossible either.
Sometimes there are great free directories that you can list your website in as well to provide one way links. One major goal of link exchanges is to boost your search engine ranking.
There are some who say that these exchanges actually take traffic away from your site by encouraging visitors to click a link before they buy anything from you. While this may be true, it is not the standard. On the other side of the issue, the increased traffic from improved search engine rank that you may gain by doing quality link exchanges, most likely will offset any possible losses. You will also gain some visitors to your site that you wouldn’t have gained otherwise, so most of the time it all evens out.
Many webmasters do link exchanges with great success and wouldn’t have it any other way. Many of the top websites out there have done extensive link exchanges that were vital to them getting those high ranks. It’s important to weigh which methods are working for you and which are not. Give it some time to evaluate tho, as results don’t come overnight.

Article Writing Has Never Been Easier
If you are looking for the magic button to article marketing success, stop looking. There is no such thing as the missing piece in the puzzle. Article marketing has been here for years. If there are new tricks, people have already found it. The question is, will you do it?
The next time you write an article, make sure you include these effective secrets that can boost your article marketing results.
You may also find that many types of advertising have points of diminishing returns - as purchase more and more visitors (clicks) to your site, the cost per click tends to rise, and eventually reach a point at which it is no longer profitable to advertise.
By writing regularly, people will begin to develop trust in your work. Once they like what you have to offer, they want to know more about you. Keep giving away valuable information and sooner or later, they will buy your products or services.
Well Structured Content: You may be able to provide a very informative article content but without a good structuring of your articles, your articles will definitely be ignored by the readers as it is very tiring to read something that is very packed and look like an essay.
Submit your article to Internet article directories (there are at least several hundred article directories, and you should probably submit to as many as possible).
Relevant Keywords: An article inserted with proper keywords that can flow with the content can help your website get better ranking by the search engine and get more visibility when people search for information using those keywords. This can get your article read by more people as it may appear on the search result for those keywords.
The benefits of following this process are two fold. Firstly, each article of yours that is reprinted will tend to bring you at least some traffic (thanks to a link to your site in the resource box). Secondly, and perhaps more importantly, the links in the resource box will be seen by search engines, and since search engines take links into account in ordering their search results, can help contribute to improving your search engine rankings.
